Destination: Hugel Atem

"Hugel Atem" is another fantastic region build by the creative French team of Ignis Fatuus Grid.

Three artificial islands are build in a laguna, each is holding a building. The one in the South is a wind mill which I visited first. We are on Ignis Fatuus, that is, a windmill does look a bit different to the ones we know.

And it is always fantastic to see the textures used by the builders.

My next stop is the tower building in the middle of the region.

Ghostly lions guard the main entrance.

In the middle of one of the cylindric halls, one will find a hyperverse teleporter and on one of the columns at the walls there is a teleporter to the different levels of the building.

I decided to go from top to bottom and chose number 3. That brings you to the top platform of the highest of the three towers with a fantastic view over the region.

Number 2 send you in a bigger hall on mid level, where in the middle you can take a bath in a nice designed pool.

Number one is another hall above the entrance and choosing zero send you back to ground.
The last big building on "Hugel Atem" carries a big clock and in front on the base platform you will find a time machine. If you use it do not be surprised when being transported to.......?

There is much more to explore on this region and on the adjacent regions called "Mer ..." but I will leave it up to you to travel Ignis Fatuus fantasy grid.
With this report I will finish the series about the fantasy world of Ignis Fatuus which is always a joy and source of inspiration.
But there is one more region on the grid that is a must to be reviewed. You will read about it in the next story about this grid, always worth a visit.
So far I will tip my hat to all of the Ignis Fatuus crew.

Destination: Creanovale Part I

Travelling to the Creanovale Grid brings you to the "Grunge Square" at "Crea" region first. The "Grunge Square" is an underwater location from where you can teleport (Using the red pin) to several points within the Grid of Dabici Straulino or to other parts of the Hyperverse.

I used the red pin and choose the "2B Squattere", which is the first menu point on the list. Clicking it  and I found myself on a not so clean square surrounded by some industrial buildings. It might used to be an old playground but now seems to be a home for some hobos.

Shouldn't have touched it.

From the square I investigated the adjacent building, which did not contain that much but a seating group and a bucket. Clicking on the bucket you call Max McCoy, who immediately starts to mop the floor. (Thinking about, to hire him for my office on Beeblebrox).

Passing the "living room" of the hobos.....

I went deeper in the urban environment. And the homeless even set up their own stylish dancefloor,

After crossing a canal via a small bridge, I left the grunge part of the area and entered in a more victorian style steampunk environment. And the first building I visited there is still in an old industrial style but in addition, it has a personal touch.

The ground level is sparsely furnished with a seating group and a desk in the corner. A circular stairway brings you to the upper level. A place to listen to homemade music.

Another canal and another bridge across, it will bring you to the city square of "Creanovale".

The square is surrounded by some office buildings where one is called the "Creativity Tower", to be identified by the question words What, Who, Where, When, Why and How, written in large letters on the outside of the building in english and french (remember we are on a Canadian region)

Inside the building you will find a board with the same words, this time indicating the different floors of the building. It might will become a TP system but for now you have to use the stairs to get to the floors

Oh, I just had a look on my watch and it is getting late. Sorry folks, I have to leave for now but will tell you next time what to explore in the building and what it all has to do with creativity. Sorry about that. But as I know your curiosity, I know you will visit the place before I publish my next story about "Creanovale".
Have I mentioned that lots of stuff you can see on "Creanovale" are copy/take enabled ?

Okay see you soon at Dabici's place, have to hurry.

Destination: Doctor Who

As a traveler through the Hyperverse, I do not need any English Public Police Department Telephone Booth to travel through space and time. But this time I landed inside one of this blue boxes, since 1963 also known as Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space (T.A.R.D.I.S.)

I have to admit that I do not know that much about the cult series "Dr. Who" but know the basics about it. So the pro's may excuse my lack of knowledge when I wander and review about these holy halls of the "Doctor Who" Region, to be found on the Littlefield Grid and signed responsible by Toy McBride. With the help of others, she build up an exhibition around the "Doctor Who" theme.

The first hall I entered shows an overview about the TV series, the companions of "Dr. Who", the many actors playing him, some information about special figures in the series and a chronic.

Leaving this room through a TARDIS, I ended up in a room with some electronic machinery in it's center which I identified as the TARDIS console. A click on its inner cylinder, which is the Hartnell Time Rotor, will move it but that is all it does. Another click will stop it again. On a screen in the back I sadly got a Viewer Fault ( This may happen due to the fact that I am a foreigner for the Littlefield Grid, but I do not know).

A door from this control room brings me into a hallway with pictures from actors in the past years of the serie.

In one of the rooms you have the opportunity to get some mesh models of Matt Smith as Dr. Who, River Song and Cyberman. Unfortunately those models are only permitted for Littlefield residents and can not be taken by guests from other grids.
Same applies to the T Shirts which are shown on boards on the wall.

And than I opened a door and walked through, and that I should not have done. I ended up in a maze of rooms and hallways with pictures and artefacts from the series. So I only was able to make the pictures. But please do not ask me, how I have made it to those places. You have to find out by yourself when being there ;-).

All those picture will only show a part of what you can explore on this region. You can spend hours there to see it all and to get a lot of information of the TV series.
This is a great place to explore, not only for the "Dr. Who" fans and supporters.
I am tipping my hat to Toy and all her helpers. A well done region of fun, information and reminiscence.

Art: Poetic Pearls

One of the areas on the "Pandora" region on Nara's Nook Grid is the platform "Poetic Pearls".
As I have written in a former article about Nara's Nook, the Grid residents are mainly writers and so the "Poetic Pearls" was made by one of the authors, namely Tracy Olmstead.

To get to the platform is not quite easy, cause you first land on Pandora ,where there is no further telepad. You have to walk the storypath on the groundlevel island to the end to get to the telepad that will bring you up to the skyrock "Poetic Perls".

The top of the rock is neatly arranged. A big hall is the most prominent building on the plateau.

The front of the entrance is a dancing space, bordered on the northern side by a half round arranged row of pine trees. In front one sees a lonesome piano with a dance ball hovering above.

Entering the hall, on the left side you have several open rooms showing boards with a collection of poems by Tracy.

On the right hand side you can read a few philosophical thoughts about virtual worlds, dance, poetry and pearls. Take your time to read it, it's very interesting.

And when you are there with your partner you might end up in a discussion about what you have read or you will set the volume of your stream, go outside to the piano, click the dance ball and dance the time away.

And if you are by your own, just click the dance ball anyway. click on NPC Couples, sit on the danceball and a virtual dance partner will appear and start dancing. But don't forget this partner does not know anything about romance!
