It's the time of the year that it is getting cold and the snow is falling and will turn the Holiday Season and Christmas into a Winter Wonderland. This might not be everywhere but it is on the Region "Crea" and its region "L'Hiver du Grand Nord" which translates to "Winter in the Far North".
Dabici Straulino owner of the Grid Creanovale set up a little piece of her Varregion in a Winter region with a small Christmas market.
To get there just hyperjump to hg.creanovale.ca:8052. You will land in a grungy area, called the "Grunge Square". There you will see boards which say "L'Hiver du Grand Nord". If you click you will be teleported.
Close to the landing point you will meet Jean-Givre (Jack-Frost) the snowman. He has quite a bit of artificial intelligence and you can have a little conversation with him if you like.
In the back of Jean one can see another teleport board to a canadian rural winter landscape with a farm and a small church. But for now I wanted to stay here......
...and was excited what would happen when I click the other board, saying Tobogan Station.

I ended up on top of a hill slope in a wooden station. It is snowing and a bit cold I am dressed in a not really suitable outfit for such kind of weather. Anyway I clicked the board to get instructions how to ride the thing. But what is a tobogan ? Here the answer:
'A tobogan is a simple sled which is a traditional form of transport used by the Innu and Cree of northern Canada. It differs from most sleds or sleighs in that it has no runners or skis (or only low ones) on the underside.'
Okay, I gave it a try and it was much fun to go down the hill, on the ice of the frozen lake and bump into the snow mobile standing ready on the icy surface of the lake. (By the way, if you need a mobile like that, just copy/take it, as lots of items on this Grid are for copy/take).
From this place I walked back to the market place, passing four musicians. And if you have set up your sound, you can hear them sing a carol.
Being back at the market, I investigated the boothes, where you can purchase items like an Inukshuk, which is a stone landmark build by peoples of the Arctic region of North America.

L'Hiver due Grand Nord is a pretty build area by Dabici and my review did not show all of it. To see and experience more (like Ice Skating) jump over and have some winter fun.
